  • Share what you did and were able to do during student teaching

  • Catch the eye of the principal

  • What makes you stand out?

  • What skills do you have that transfer to the classroom?

  • Make a connection with the interview team

  • Why do you want to work at this school?

  • Don't just drop buzz words - know what they mean and how to apply them.

  • Make sure you are a good fit for the school and the school is a good fit for you.

  • Show data if you can - what do you do with it, and how can you show it?

  • For your demo lesson - make sure that it is something that you are good at teaching and that you understand fully.
