Be a teacher encourager featuring Cindy Ollendyke

Day 5 of #Teacherappreciation week and this episode of the EduMagic Podcast features Cindy Ollendyke. Cindy is a wife, mom, grandma, Teacher Encourager, Science Enthusiast, PTAC, National State Teachers of the Year Finalist- PA Class of 2006, Past President #10. Cindy is a 35-year teaching veteran and now she gives back to the teaching field by encouraging and mentoring new and preservice teachers.

Cindy believes that "our future teachers deserve the best. It is an honor to raise up the next generation of educators".

Cindy's advice for future teachers:

• Future teachers are so passionate about their career and it contagious!

• Future teachers need to find connections and build relationships with each other and with educators around the world through a PLN.

• Connect by listening to webinars, podcasts, & participating in twitter chats.

• You can also get involved in professional organizations for a small amount of money as a future teacher member.

• Never stop learning keep going!
